Electronest is a creative agency with hands-on technology. Electronest develops technology for design & communication purposes. Electronest uses culture, knowledge and skills as a mean to develop new concepts, sustainable approaches and nice projects. Electronest acts on both sides of a project: design and development.
The design fields confronted to digital mediums aren’t limited anymore to visual beautifications. They have to encompass the boundaries of semantics, mapping, taxonomy, publishing system, diffusion, economy, identity, copyright, ...
Electronest likes to define its activities with terms like ‘electronic presence’ or ‘digital objects’. These terms are going beyond the simple scope of the web page design. Digital objects are not anymore restrained to the flat surface of the screen. The term ‘electronic presence’ doesn’t refer only to an url with nice images and effective logotypes, in fact it’s a little bit more interesting...
Advertisement, commerce and communication became network based.
Database are translated into real life objects like books, or magazine.
Furniture design and production is automated and controlled through algorithms.
Tangible objects are findable online.
Information fluxes went even more complex since the blogosphere.
... and we still speak about web sites.
‘Electronic presence’ refers more to a global attitude towards digital mediums and cultures. In a non-exhaustive list, this attitude refers to customized Content Management System, generative application, e-commerce, dedicated hosting, electronic installation and tangible computing, vjing and live event, etc. - this terms also is applied to more traditional concepts/mediums like magazine layout or corporate identity.
